This website is being constructed in honor of a great man of God, Evangelist Russell Jack
Parchman. My name is Chris and I am his eldest grandchild and also your webmaster. Over the next few weeks and months, I will attempt to create a
comprehensive website that will give you the opportunity to learn about my grandfather,
not only through his preaching as most of you knew him, but the family-side of my
grandfather you didn't see, through personal stories from Mrs. Ann, his daughters and
grandkids.
About The Website
In addition to some of the personal stories, photos and home video I hope to share, I am transferring his catalog of messages from cassette to mp3 and CD as well as the videotaped
messages to DVD and downloadable video files to watch from your computer. My grandfather
left a wealth of powerful, timeless messages. Transferring analog tape to the digital medium is a
very time-consuming task. It must be done in 'real time'. No high-speed dubbing option
on this monsterous project! With the hours upon hours of tape and video to transfer, this
catalog will not be completed anytime soon, but will be a work in progress for the
immediate future.
The money taken in from downloading these messages will be used to cover the expense of storing these files and the bandwidth for downloading. The price of the CD's, DVD's and videotapes will be used to cover the cost for storing the files as well as the costs of the raw materials to create the product. This website is not here to generate a profit. If you wish to listen to a message but cannot afford it or have no method to purchase (credit or debit card), please send me an email with the name of the message and I will email the link to the mp3 message at no cost or obligation to you.
